What:
Day thirty of the second Daily Marker 30 day colouring challenge. A thank you to Kathy Racoosin for running the challenge and somehow finding the time to comment on everyone’s pictures.
How:
The hardest part about making this card was leaving so much white space on it.
I made a card base from Neenah cardstock so I could make this a one-layer card. I combined elements from two Mama Elephant stamp sets to create a cute “thank you” and stamped them directly on the card base with Copic-friendly ink.
Once the image was coloured, I finished the card off with a coat of Wink of Stella on the icing and some glossy accents on the cherries. The final touch was to add a couple of clear sequins — I wasn’t planning on doing this but I noticed that there was the tiniest dot of Copic ink in the middle of all that white space and it was quite obvious and needed to be covered.
