The Daily Marker 30 day colouring challenge #16

Balloons!

What:

Day sixteen of the second Daily Marker 30 day colouring challenge. Balloons!

How:

I randomly stamped the balloons in different colours across the card panel and then went over them with coloured pencil in a less than successful attempt to add some shading.

The gaps between the balloons were filled in by stamping the stars in silver ink. I drew the balloon strings and covered the central balloon with glossy accents, and once that was dry, I trimmed the panel down to size and mounted it on the card base.

The sentiment was stamped on a strip of card and the silver crescents drawn by hand; it was then mounted on the card using foam tape. The “happy” was die cut from a piece of black card backed with double-sided adhesive sheet and then stuck to the card and coated with Wink of Stella.

Lessons Learned:

Glossy accents will cause buckling on some cardstock, but there is a good chance it will flatten again if left long enough until the glossy accents is completely dried.
