The Daily Marker 30 day colouring challenge #20

What:

Day twenty of The Daily Marker 30 day colouring challenge. I don’t usually send Easter cards, but any excuse for making cards 🙂 The background is blended Distress inks, the rest of the colouring is painted Distress inks, and the very restrained embellishment is white gel pen.

Inspired by:

Julia Altermann at Just One More Card made a cute Easter card using inlay die cutting last week.

Supplies:

  • stamps:
    Lawn Fawn – happy easter
  • dies:
    Waffle Flower – flower circles
  • colour:
    Ranger – archival ink – sepia
  • Distress inks:
    background – tumbled glass, shabby shutters
    chick – squeezed lemonade, mustard seed
    bunnies – antique linen, tea dye, pumice stone
    flowers and eggs – squeezed lemonade, spiced marmalade, festive berries, mowed lawn
  • embellishments:
    Uni-ball – Signo gel pen – white
  • paper and card:
    Doodlebug – paper pad – kraft in color/color
