The Daily Marker 30 day colouring challenge #1

The Daily Marker 30 day challenge #1

What:

Kathy over at The Daily Marker is hosting a 30 day colouring challenge and I am going to have a go. The chances of me ending up having done 30 pieces of colouring at the end of this are pretty minimal, but if I don’t try…

So, here is a relatively quick piece to get me started and get day one done.

Inspired by:

The idea of using Copic markers over stamping came from a guest video by Dawn Woleslagle on Jennifer McGuire’s YouTube channel.

Supplies:

  • stamps:
Clearly Besotted – pretty petals plus
WPlus9 – whole lotta happy (for a longer stem than is in the pretty petals set)
  • colour:
Hero Arts – shadow inks – pool, cornflower, passionflower, charcoal, wet cement, green hills
  • Copic markers:
    leaves – YG03, YG07, YG17
    flower 1 – BV04, BV31, BV34
    flower 2 – B21, B23, B24, B26
    flower 3 – BG10, BG53, BG57
  • embellishments:
    Wink of Stella – clear
